#4- Slice of Life

Posted by: | February 6, 2009 | No Comment |

I remember one Sunday afternoon me and my family were gathered at my great grandfathers house, and me my cousin Shawn were playing football in the front yard with Logan (a family friend), and Jonathon (another cousin of mine). We were playing tackle. Well this shouldn’t be a problem except I was nine years old and everyone else was at least 3 years older than me. So tackling my 13 year old cousin Jonathon over and over was super exciting and new for me because I was growing up. It was really fun, and just a slice of our family fun, and excitement. I miss hanging out with all of my cousins when we were younger, and I really wish I could go back in time just to experience it again.

#1-Technology

Posted by: | January 23, 2009 | No Comment |

Well I became the technology user I am today starting by ruining 2 computers when I was 4 and 5 years old. Then came video games and television when I learned to use the t.v. and play my nintendo 64 it was all over. I loved 007, and donkey kong. Shortly after I was about 7 and learned how to use the computer for video games, and got many radio controlled r.c. cars that I loved so much. Then when I really started to understand technology was when I was 10 years old and got my ps2. Madden NFL, NBA Live, and don’t forget Gran Turismo. Then the internet was a possibility with the computer and school helped me learn about that and then all of the sudden I exploded with technology and learned how to take computers apart fix them and know them inside out. I got my first mp3 player, cell phone, and an xbox. I figured them out by myself very fast. Then at the age of 13 came the xbox 360 which is so close to a computer it blows my mind but is still play it and love it, a little less seeing this christmas i worked for a ps3.

#1- I carry a cell phone on a regular basis which pretty much doubles as computer, mp3 player, and phone I love it.

#2- I avidly text people, I talk on the telephone, use myspace, msn messenger, email, and more…

#3- I talk to people, and find out through the media such as magazines, internet, and television. It is very easy for me to pick things up with technology it takes me a night of fooling with it and then I pretty much got it mastered.

#3- Recession

Posted by: | January 23, 2009 | No Comment |

The current recession that our nation is in without a doubt is a crisis. Our economy is half way failing, because none of the rich people are spending money to employ poor people, and if they do they jack their prices on everything way up. So the poor people are getting poorer, and the rich are getting richer. I think some of it has to do with our last president (as of today last!!!!) George W. Bush. But you can’t blame one man for a whole country of mistakes. I know how it is coming from a really for family. Before i moved to Springfield with my father, I was with my mother which is a single mom who makes a little more than nine dollars an hour and gets her hours cut often. I personally think the new president Barrack H. Obama has many good ideas on how to pull us out of this recession. By the way love the phrase ”yes we can” because it’s true people are coming together to end this current state of depression. People would rather cut their hours back then see a friend lose a job, people are trying to do all the little things to help the economy out. I believe this recession is going to end with in a few years because of the strength and diligence of the American people.

#2- Quick Memoir

Posted by: | January 20, 2009 | No Comment |

I remember when I was 8 years old my cousin Serena took me to the fair. Well she knew the person who owned a portion of the fair so he gave my cousin, her boyfriend, and I a special stamp that got us on all the rides for free! For an 8 year old this was totally awesome! I went on every ride at least 3 times, and enjoyed every bit of it. I met the person who owned the portion of the fair and his name was Gregg, and his son and I had fun for the second half because see now I had a buddy to share the fun with! We went on the biggest ride twice in a row, and my buddy John puked. I wanted to laugh but that would be cold hearted so we comforted him, and told him it was ok. On the way home the hood on Serena’s car flew up and hit the wind-shield on the freeway! Of course we pulled over and put it down and proceeded to put a screw in the hood to keep it down, it was absolutely hilarious. Well it was her first car an old, old Ford Taurus that was 2 different rusted colors; red and blue. We called it the Wheeny Wagon because it was such a wagon( piece of junk) and we had the nickname the Wheenus, for some reason I can’t remember now. That night was so much fun I don’t think I will ever forget it.
